What We Built & Why

Shopify store owners were spending hours answering the same support questions — "Where is my order?", "What's your return policy?", "Do you have this in blue?" — while customers waited hours for responses, abandoning carts and raising chargebacks out of frustration.

We built Shop Assist AI, a Shopify-native conversational assistant powered by OpenAI + RAG that connects to the live store — fetching real-time product, order, and customer data — and handles every common support query with context-aware, accurate responses around the clock.

Core problem solved: Customers couldn't get instant answers about their orders, products, or policies — leading to abandoned purchases and manual support overhead.
