This not only reduced 404 errors but also helped recover lost link equity.
I then conducted a full technical on-page SEO overhaul, reinstating optimized titles, meta descriptions, header tags, and internal linking — all tailored to target mobile and voice search behavior. Simultaneously, I began a systematic cleanup of their backlink profile. I used Google Search Console to disavow toxic or unnatural backlinks and contacted webmasters directly to request link removal from harmful sources.
Alongside cleanup, I developed a new content strategy focused on intent-driven, high-converting keywords that aligned with user search behavior. This included content for blog posts, landing pages, and product/service descriptions — all built to support both SEO and user experience. Finally, I implemented a scalable, month-by-month backlinking strategy designed to bring in high-authority, industry-relevant links and rebuild trust with search engines.
